AFMA – Annual Conference

The Australian False Memory Association is holding its Annual Conference in Sydney on 12 October 2013.

SPEAKERS:
Dr Melanie Takarangi, B.A., B.Sc (Hons)., Ph.D. (VUW, New Zealand), lecturer at Flinders University, Adelaide, speaking on “Memory for Traumatic Experiences”

Prof. Grant Devilly, BSc (Hons), MClinPsych (UQ), PhD (UQ) School of Applied Psychology, & Griffith Heal Insitute, Griffith University Queensland, talking on “Autobiographical memory errors – then and now”.

Two AFMA supporters, Michelle F. and John W, will discuss “Finding Resilience in Difficult Days”, relating to the court case of Michelle’s husband John F. as a result of false accusations.

VENUE:
Robert Menzies College, Macquarie University, 136 Herring Road, North Ryde, NSW 2113, starting at 9.30 am (registration 8.45 – 9.30 am).
The registration fee of $85 includes morning and afternoon tea as well as lunch.
