Sydney: AFMA Conference 2009.

The Australian False Memory Association is pleased to present an informative program for our 2009 Annual Conference.
This comes at a time when public opinion holds that false memories and false accusations are yesterday’s news. Although the incidence of new cases has reduced since its peak in the 1980s and 1990s, new cases continue to be reported. Sadly, for many families affected by false memories, reconciliation remains just a dream.

Keynote Speakers
• Dr Stefanie Sharman, Lecturer, Academic Staff, School of Psychology,
Faculty of Science, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
• Dr Travis Gee, Lecturer in Clinical, Health and Counselling Psychology,
University of Southern Queensland.
• Irene Curtis, founding member and first President of AFMA.
