More PACFA failures.

From Australian Counselling Association (ACA) Response to the PACFA Discussion Paper: Best Practice self-regulatory model for psychotherapy and counselling in Australia:-
"In PACFA’s five years of existence it has brought together 42 counselling/psychotherapy associations. In that time, it has not been able to establish a uniform set of:
  • complaints procedures;
  • membership levels;
  • membership fees;
  • definitions;
  • public education material;
  • or counsellor/psychotherapist training standards.
In this time, PACFA has not been successfully able to produce a common peer-reviewed journal, negotiate insurance policies, negotiate health-fund provider numbers a single private health provider nor produce any common membership benefits and services..."
